Roles of a Pediatric Registered Dietitian

Nutritional Assessment
Conduct a thorough evaluation of a child’s feeding history, medical background, growth patterns, and overall health and behavior to identify nutritional needs.
Personalized Nutrition Plans
Stabilize nutrition and fill nutrient gaps. Integrate unique intervention plans to address complex feeding challenges and common concerns. A personalized plan will be provided along with follow-up emails and resources.

Education and Counseling
Teaching families how to adjust their feeding practices to support their child. Supporting parents as they navigate disordered eating and food refusal in their home. Helping families establish a healthy eating foundation.
Support for Developmental & Global Delays
Assisting children with Avoidant or Restrictive Food Intake Disorders, Pediatric Feeding Disorders, Medically Complex Babies, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Oral Motor delays and more.


Collaboration with Healthcare Team
Working closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, osteopathic manual therapists, and other dietitians.
